Since 2007, every edition has begun with a commitment: the signing of an environmental charter by the runners and partners. Much more than just a set of rules, it serves as a reminder that the adventure is only worthwhile if it respects the regions that host it.
For the ARWC 2026, this “Back To Nature” charter was drafted by Antoine Orsini, professor of hydrobiology at the University of Corsica and president of the Organizing Committee. It embodies a strong conviction: nature is not a playground, but our most precious partner.
