From 27 September to 10 October 2026, Corsica will host the world’s biggest adventure racing event. Pascal and Nancy Bahuaud, alongside Antoine Orsini, reveal what’s in store.
The challenge: 500 km of non-stop racing, nearly 20,000 metres of ascent and six to eight days between sea and mountains, with teams entirely self-sufficient. Trekking, mountain biking, kayaking, packrafting and rope descents will make up an extraordinary course.
The Adventure Racing World Championship (ARWC 2026) will bring together the international elite: 400 athletes from 31 nations, including the world’s top three teams. Among them are the 2024 world champions, France’s 400Team Altore, ready to defend their title on home soil.
